In 1992, the Union of Concerned Scientists said, "Human beings and the natural world are on a collision course." They called it their Warning To Humanity. More than 3 decades later, this message is even more true.
Since this warning, the human race is causing the next mass extinction, the 6th in the 3.5 billion years of life on Earth. Can't help but wonder when we, Homo Sapiens, will be on the extinction list!
Our momentum in the wrong direction is increasing...
At some point, likely in the near future, we will be forced to adapt in ways that will be very painful.
The more we work together, the better chance we will have of adapting.
